Frederick Scottish Country Dancers 

We welcome both beginners and experienced dancers

Regular Class Meetings held Tuesday Nights at 7:30 p.m.     

From 7:30 to 9:00 we focus on teaching figures and steps, and the simpler dances that everyone can enjoy.

 

From 9:00 to 10:00 we focus on dances for those who have more experience.  We encourage beginners to stay and watch!

 



​Semesters:  Fall and Spring

We have two semesters of approximately 20 weeks each.  At the end of December and the end of June we have an in-class party!

(We do not hold classes in July or August, but there are other groups that do, if you find you need your "fix"!)

 

Fall Semester runs September through January.  Spring Semester runs February through June.  While the semester may have already begun, don't let that stop you from checking us out any time.  Bring your friends;  you'll enjoy yourself

 



​Tuition and Fees

Regular Tuition is only $60 per semester, plus $45 per year's membership in the Washington Branch of the RSCDS (Royal Scottish Dance Society) for insurance and other benefits.  We will also be offering a short-term introductory rate for those who are uncertain whether to commit to the full period and would like a taste first.  

 

If you are only visiting and would like to drop in, our drop-in fee is still only $5.  Please come on by!

If you are a resident of the Clover Hill subdivision, there will be no  tuition charge to you, as a special consideration for use of our present facilities!
